Ridiculous Road Trip #2, Day 19, St Augustine

 April 18

We did a morning tour through St. Augustine, Florida. Of course, we started with the fort, the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.

Wandered the old streets of and took in the sites.

Our universities definitely did not have the amazing architecture of Flagler College.

And then we headed on down our last day’s journey along the Atlantic Coast, down past Daytona Beach to Manatee Hammock Park, another Florida county park. It pales in comparison to our previous county park experience, but it’s proximity to the Kennedy Space Center was perfect. And I pulled out all the camper gourmet cooking stops for dinner.  Yum!
